Guardian Services

Servants Center serves as a court-appointed legal guardian for individuals who cannot manage personal, medical, or financial decisions due to mental health or physical challenges.

What This Means:

  • We are appointed by a court
    when no suitable family or friend is available

  • We often serve as guardian of last resort

  • Role is highly regulated under Michigan law

Our Responsibilities Include:

  • Medical and mental health decisions

  • Housing and living arrangements

  • Coordination of social services

  • Financial oversight and protection

Who We Serve:

  • Indigent adults

  • Individuals with serious mental health challenges,
    developmental disabilities or dementia

  • Complex, high-need cases
