Chuck Hahn

Chuck Hahn has been a servant leader at Servants Center for nearly 20 years and has served both as a volunteer and as board Chairperson for many of those years. Chuck summed it up well when he said “As a volunteer I get to see every day the effect Servants Center has on the lives of its clients through housing, medical care, food and help with other needs. I get to know the clients and appreciate how wonderful and fascinating they are, but also see how many difficulties they face but cannot deal with alone. I can see what a difference being treated with dignity and respect makes, and with some I become a trusted friend. What a privilege!”  Chuck is committed to urban ministries, having served on the Urban Ministry team at Thornapple Evangelical Covenant Church for a seven-year stretch. He has a strong interest in housing, having served as an officer of Midland Area Homes, a non-profit housing repair agency. Chuck had a career that included serving as Chief Tax Officer of Dow Chemical Company.  His knowledge of finances, taxes and legal matters have been of great value to Servants Center.
